My take on this song, recorded and mixed in 2001-2002. Sindri Bergmann Þórarinsson mastered in 2022 (as well as could be done). I think I increased the drama in the lyrics with 'The world is nothing except hate' as it could be that Egill sung 'The world is nothing I say Hey'. I also added lyrics where they were missing or unclear.
About Bræðraminning
My parents kept a cassette with the recordings of the songs my older brothers made. To make sure the songs survived that old cassette, I published the album Bræðraminning, which also includes my takes on their songs.
